Brought to you by Andrea and Lisa, twin sisters with a shared passion for early childhood education and a deep commitment to creating enriching, screen-free experiences for children.
Andrea’s journey in early childhood education began in 2011, where she honed her skills and expertise over the years. For a decade, she worked as an additional classroom assistant with a focus on supporting kindergarten children with additional needs at a respected not-for-profit organization. This role allowed her to develop a strong understanding of the unique challenges and rewards that come with nurturing children’s development.
Lisa, joining the field in 2019, brings a passionate approach to early childhood education and the signifigance of organic play. Lisa spent three years working with the same not-for-profit organization, assisting children with additional needs and gaining valuable hands-on experience in fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
Both Andrea and Lisa hold diplomas in early childhood education and share a special interest in sensory experiences, believing that children thrive when given opportunities to explore the world through their senses. They are firm advocates for the importance of screen-free play, recognizing the immense value in unplugged activities that foster creativity, imagination, and social connection.
Together, we’ve combined our expertise and love for learning to create Growing Minds, a space where children can explore, grow, and engage in sensory-rich, imaginative play. We’re excited to share our knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm with you as we work to support the next generation of curious, confident learners!
